The Body Electric Podcast features musician to musician interviews with some of Canada’s top jazz musicians! It’s mainly a guitar podcast but some other instruments drop in from time to time. We discuss the practice of music from the musicians perspective and try to dig deep in every episode.

Nathan longs for the days of publications like Coda magazine and programs like Marian Mcpartland’s ‘Piano Jazz’ . They were dedicated to long form, in-depth discussions that were free from ‘publicity’ and wholly focused on the music. The goal of each interview is to hear the how the player came up, how they developed their approach, and what they are trying to accomplish now. And we of course play a few tunes along the way too!!
