I’ve begun a weekly residency at a really cool little bar called Motel at 1235 Queen West. Thursdays at 10:30pm beginning May 7 2015.

Nathan Hiltz (B.Mus, M.Mus) is a Juno winning jazz guitarist who was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Based in Toronto since 1999, he attended Humber College and The University of Toronto. He studied jazz guitar with Reg Schwager, Jim Hall, Adam Rogers and many others. Over the course of his professional career he has played on over 25 albums and toured extensively across Canada. Nathan is a mentor to many aspiring guitarists from his home teaching studio and as a part time faculty member at Humber College. Read more..

I’m recording a record of standards at the end of the month with Pat Collins on bass and Morgan Childs on drums. We’ll be playing the repertoire each week as a warm up for recording.

Thursdays 10:30pm-1am at Motel 1235 Queen St West

Sundays 6pm-10pm at Joe Mamas 317 King St West w/
